Moho Piper aduncum

Moho is a shrubby, tropical evergreen tree that reaches more than 20 feet and is often grown
as an ornamental plant. But it possesses many medicinal properties, as well.
Moho produces pale yellow or white spikes that are cord-like and flower. It is in the pepper family, and all its plant parts smell and taste spicy. For this reason, it’s often used as a substitute for pepper and other condiments. It is also known as matico.

PROPERTIES AND USE:
Antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, carminative, antihemorrhagic, antiseptic, antitumor. Treats digestive conditions, wounds, skin conditions, uterine conditions, colds, cough, flu, throat cancer, uterine cancer, yeast infection, vomiting.
TRADITIONAL PREPARATION:
Moho can be purchased in capsule or extract form. The capsules are good as a supplement, and the extract can be used externally on skin conditions. For wounds, crush or powder the leaves, and apply directly to the affected area. For all conditions, make an infusion by boiling 3 leaves in 1 liter of water for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and steep for 20 minutes. Drink 3 cups per day.
UTERINE CANCER VAGINAL STEAM BATH Makes 1 treatment
Vaginal steam baths, called bajos, are used to treat a variety of conditions, from fibroids to cancer. For this treatment, you will need a chair with a slatted seat, a heavy blanket, and a large pot, bowl, or tub.
You will also need to remove your clothes from the waist down. If you are prone to cold feet, leave your socks on.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon moho powder
1 tablespoon dried fenugreek 1 tablespoon dried calendula 1/2 tablespoon sulfur
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Add all ingredients to 1 gallon boiling water.
• Allow to cool slightly, and then place the mixture under your chair. Making sure the steam is hot but not too hot, sit on the chair and use the blanket to cover the upper body
and to tent the steam.
• Sit for 20 minutes, and then lie down and rest under dry, heavy bedding for 1 hour.
USE:
It is recommended to do this vaginal steam bath two times per week.
